The Oblong & Lisa from Blackpink
In Japan—broken and wandering—I photographed a shape. I didn’t know why; I just felt called. Two months later, Lisa from Blackpink posted from Japan, standing in front of that same shape: same location, same angle. I posted my own photo just four days after hers, but I didn't realize the oblong was in the background of my post until later.
I discovered it is an oblong, documented 2,300 years ago by Aristotle as the opposite of the square. The Trump Tower black box—four men, a square. I was trapped inside that box for over a year. I suspect Lisa knew my story and went to Japan to help, mirroring the same synchronicity that happened with Kanye a year prior. An ancient shape, buried for millennia, unearthed itself to reverse the geometry of my soul. Like the Golden Snitch in Harry Potter: invisible to most, but once caught, the whole game changes.
