Thoughts on the beach: Why is it synonymous with the word bitch? Or peach?
Is it because they sound the same? Or they come from similar origins?
I mean, it’s at the edge – between land and water – where people can’t get to you, can’t take advantage of you…
Or maybe it’s a metaphor, to teach us lessons through linguistics/meaning, to help us navigate the rough waters.
Or as they say, maybe it’s the sand in your eyes.
